It appears a Fatal Database Error is occurring, and since I haven’t been messing with anything site-wise, I’m thinking this is on my host’s end. I’m going to contact them and see what is going on.

I really REALLY hope it is on their end.

I made a test review on one of my stories and I received the email notification. So I think that little problem is indeed fixed by the move.

Notice the site is still in Maintenance Mode. It will be for a little while longer. If you have been checking the Psychfic URL periodically, you noticed when the site went from Maintenance Mode, to an error page, and now back to Maintenance Mode. That error page between Modes was the transition time to the new DNS of our new home. :)

Next I will be uploading the tables for the Community Forum. *runs off*

The reason for this is that those that can now access the site have ISPs that have updated their DNS addresses. So, for those of you not yet able to access the site, it is only a matter of waiting for the DNS change to propagate.

I, for instance, still cannot access the site by the URL, but I can access it by the direct IP and my hosting username. Now, I’d give this info to you all, but I don’t think that would be a good idea. ;)

So, it just comes down to waiting. And patience, as they say, is a virtue. Many don’t possess it, including me :P, but we have no other choice.

As the site eventually comes back online with my old host, Psychfic will immediately enter Maintenance mode, a link being provided to this blog.

The move will hopefully be complete by Monday, barring any complications. I will keep you up to date via the Psychfic Office as the move progresses.
